Creator lab audigy SE or Asus xonar dgx sound card for logitech z623?

I'm considering the creative labs Audigy SE PCIe sound card or the Asus Xonar dgx.

Which should I choose if I get the logitech z623 speakers?

Would either of these sound cards be better for the logitech z506?

Are either of these sound cards pathetic to get good sound quality using either of those logitech speakers?

I do not want to spend a large sum of money for great audio and am only considering these options. I am not interested in other options.

Yes you will, though I would steer away from the Audigy line; been obsolete for about 6 or 7 years now.

Low end, the ASUS Xonar DGX, for around $30 or so, is a step up from onboard. Moving up to about $70, the ASUS Xonar DX, while a good 6 years old now, still reigns supreme. At $99, you have the Creative Sound Blaster Z. Above that, its really hard to justify getting a soundcard unless you have a REALLY high end set of headphones that need an amp to drive; that's where the ASUS Xonar Essence ST(X), ASUS Xonar Phoebus, and Creative Soundblaster ZxR start showing off.

If you have a motherboard that has onboard sound (it probably does) there is no reason to buy a sound card if you are going to buy a cheap one. There is not going top be diffrence, but if you buy expensive one it will be deiffrent (like sound blaster z). Just buy speakers, dont waste money.

So I won't be able to tell the difference between either of those soundcards vs. the Realtek ALC892 codec?
