POST beep every startup

Hello! I wish to ask the more experienced builders and tech knowers here. Every time I start my new self built PC it makes the "succesful POST beep" the one short beep... Is it normal to hear it EVERY time the PC starts up? I cant see anything wrong with it, nor does it seem like it when I use it..

ALSO - is it normal that my harddrive LED isnt on when the computer is fully started with windows? Its on during booting, but dissapears again once I've logged into windows ?

Yes, once Windows loads, unless you do something that causes a drive access, the light will not be on.
