How do i find out my exact model of alienware x51

Like the title says im trying to find my exact model # for my alienware x51 anyone know how this can be done i have been looking for 2 hours i have looked in alien autopsy on dells website etc etc and whatever i find my service tag etc my express service code.. and i try to google it nothing shows up so im doing something wrong or its impossible to find? i want to know this info because i want to be able to sell this computer but i cant without knowing all the info about it please someone help i have to find out the model # so i can get every spec about the computer etc. please help!

One the search box after you click the start/Windows logo at the botton left button, type 'dxdiag' without appostrophes and look for the X circle icon and click on it. You should be able to find the model for your laptop.

Thanks for the reply but for one its not a laptop :p sadly its basically like one.... just a crap pc anyhow when i did that i found the model but it just says alienware x51 the thing is about the alienware x51 is it has like atleast 20+ versions that are sold differently etc.. like look on this website i should be able to choose the exact model but i cannot find exactly what one it is. http://sw.nohold.net/Dell/Uploads/choose.htm the bios says its a12 idk its really confusing to try to find exactly what version mine is

Check the motherboard model and use it to try and pinpoint your computer model.

all i can find under alien autopsy (program for computer info) is the product # for my motherboard and its chipset and something called an ePPID and also the release date what one of these should i use?

Sorry, I meant in the dxdiag program. Check the motherboard model. I suppose you can use the Product ID aswell.

Yeah dxdiag doesnt show my motherboard model ill try to use the product id Thanks alot man

Your welcome also if you don't find out yet then download Passmark Performance Test from this website:

http://www.passmark.com/products/pt.htm

Don't run the benchmark, just open it and it will find the name and model for your hardware aswell as your laptop model.
