I have a Toshiba 1tb external HD i use primarily for my tv. I just bought a new laptop and the drive won't show up. Works fine on my tv, works fine on my other laptop, works fine on pc.
Laptop runs win7 x64
When i plug it in to my new laptop, the light comes on but the system connect noise does not play. Does not show up in device manager. Does not show up in Drive management. My usb ports all work for other things.
I need to back up some raw data so i can reformat the laptop and go back to 8.1 and this has got me stalled. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
