Last week I had to swap out my Motherboard with the ASUS M5A99FX Pro R2.0 and at the same time I picked up a legal copy of Windows 8.1. Ever since the system has been freezing and I've been forced to reset. Generally it freezes minutes after login, on rarer occasion it will freezing during windows boot. Sometimes it will be running fine until I open Google Chrome.
Specs:
ASUS M5A99FX Pro R2.0
16GB Ram
2x GeForce GTX 560 2GB - SLI
FX-8120 Processor - Eight Core
Windows 8.1 - Installed on SSD.
Oddly enough I brought the system over my dad's place, I was able to run for several hours and got all my windows updates and drivers downloaded. Back at home it started freezing again???
Any help would be appreciated.
