Hi

I'm hoping to make my first forray into PC building by starting with an easy upgrade of my current Dell Inspiron 620MT.

I've done a bit of research, and understand that I need to make sure that the powersupply will be sufficient, and that the graphics card needs to be a PCI card (to match the mobo).

But I was hoping to run my plan past you guys to see what you think before I put the orders through.

So here's my current set-up:

Mobo: Dell Inspiron 620MT motherboard.
Powersource: 300W
Processor: Core i3 2120

What I'm planning on installing:

Powersource:

Corsair 500W

Graphics card:

Asus GTX 770 Nvidia GeForce DirectCU II OC 2GB GDDR5

And possibly a RAM upgrade as well.

What do you guys think?

Hi - my RAM is 4gigs of DDR3.

It's a relatively roomy case with a decent exhaust - should be ok.
