Hello

I have been trying to check registry, it's all good.

1). The sound online (e.g. Youtube) doesn't work at whole.
2). Windows update doesn't work even though I click on it.
3). Lots of times, the PC tells me error code 80048154 and I tried with all the info that been provided by microsoft-to fix it- does not work, not only that, when I want to open the file I downloaded in order to fix it, it's installs it, but not more than that-does not work.
4). I can't browse pictures on my computer or any other file/document to upload to my email or any other uploading action, because the BROWSE button does not work.
5). I think that it's all a problem of BAD registry, since my computer was clean from a ROOTKIT, also "Quikbooks" tells me I have an broken file or license damaged.
6) to summ it all: Only the Internet is working with a very fast process, but no sound no nothing. the applications I have do not run or work properly as they should and the antivirus "microsoft essentials" does not recognize ANY problem.

I will be glad to hear from you guys and I will Appreciate you taking your time and answering me about my issue/s, I'm going crazy, and I really need this computer so is no chance for me to change it-it's an expensive one that my warranty is expired.

Thank you so much!

Solution
Try booting into safemode.

It sounds like you may need to take it to a professional (NOT Best Buy or Staples or any electronics store that "fixes computers"). The virus has taken over and only someone with the know-how and or tools can save your data and maybee your current OS installation.
Sounds like you still have many pieces of the virus remaining on your machine.
Its a free antivirus and soemtimes you get what you pay for.

Scan and clean with malwarebytes.
You may have to do a PC Repair with your OS disk.
May have to reinstall drivers
Quickbooks should allow you repair file once you get everything else fixed

Backups are your friend, espically if using it for business.
An internal desktop drive, or external drive if you have to, with file backups is much cheaper then the loss of all of your financial data and company files. I use syncback to backup files weekly and macrium reflect to backup the entire hard drive monthly.

The problem is: Malwarebytes is installed on my PC and does not respond, so when I want to unistal it doesn't let me
and it tells me that it doesn't exist.
Backup: it doesn't let me either.
