Hello,

Well, it is pretty much what the title reads. I have a Gigabyte 780 Ghz Ed now. Don't get me wrong, it is a great card and it runs great. I guess that I am just getting "greedy". I thought that I would get more a performance boost coming from a Gigabyte 7970 Ghz Ed. So, no I figured that I may just spend the money and get the best that I can. This will be the first time running SLI for anything, so I don't know how it will go or what to expect.

Thank you in advance for any and all response/advice and help.

The ti will be better than the gigabyte 780 ghz ed, but imo its not worth the extra money.
With the 780 you will be able to max out pretty much everything at 1080p these days.

Thanks for the quick reply! That is what I am afraid off. However, am I able to disable one of the cards if I run into a game that has issues with SLI? This is such a difficult decision because I am thinking about selling my PS4 to buy another card lol.

So, the Gigabyte 780 Ghz Ed is just fine right now out of the box, or would there be a difference if I went with the EVGA 780Ti Classified? The Gigabyte is clocked higher out of the box, I believe. I guess my expectations were a little high. I thought that I would be able to max out everything that I threw at it.
