What do i do with my HDD when i install my SSD?

Hello!
- So i've purchased an SSD Samsung 840 EVO 120gb.
- I have downloaded all drivers needed to install on the SSD when Win7 is installed.

But, when that is done, how do i erase everything on the HDD (where i currently have Win7 and all my things installed on) and use for storing everything that isnt going to be on my new SSD? (music, pictures, videos, and other programs etc.)

I hope you can help me!

So i've installed Win7 on the SSD without the HDD connected.
When i connect the HDD to the system again, i just format it?
Does the HDD have to have any OS in order to be used as a storage drive?

It does not need, nor should it have, any OS on it. It will be just another drive letter. Probably D or E.

As it is slave drive no .Just format it - fast and easy .
