Cpu temps bad or not

Solution
Oh okay so you have just been monitoring in the BIOS. You may want to go ahead and install your OS, I have read that the BIOS temps are not always accurate. I have also read that AMD temps can be off by a huge margin sometimes. No one knows for sure if it is an issue with optimization of the temp monitoring programs for AMD sensors or whether AMD sensors are at fault themselves. Maybe someone can back me up or set me straight on that aspect?

The Bios is always going to be lower because the OS isn't loaded, there are practically no processes initiated.

Are you just noticing this problem now or did you use to have better temps?

What your CPU usage at baseline, maybe there is an app/program/process that is jacking it up

If not this could just be your processor

What are the temps when the CPU is stressed?

You could always try undervolting (not sure if this processor is good to UV would need to check)

Get a better cooler/heatsink

That a little bit better getting closer to normal idle, this may just be your chip. Sometimes we loose the silicon lottery.

If you sure nothing else is abnormal,i.e., CPU usage, maybe you should invest in an after market cooler like the EVO 812 it's like #30

Have you tried measuring the temp with another program, I like HWinfo64, sometimes you can get a deviation of 5-10C from one motoring program to the next depending on your build. Could be that your BIOS read is more accurate than your in OS read

It was stock cooler thermal paste was already applied and i opened a window (its cold)

and it changed the temp significantly :D so ill tidy the cables up a bit and buy some more fans if its still not lower then i will get a after market cooler :)
