Tom's just compared the R9 290X Tri-X and the 290X Windforce. Sapphire looks like the better option. Runs cooler and makes slightly less noise. The same almost certainly applies for the 290s.

Windforce's works at 1040 Mhz clock speed and Tri-x's at 1000 Mhz, but as Sakkura said, Gigabyte's one get's like 10ºC more in the tests. We know 290 is a hot card so I'd go for Tri-X one, that is cheaper too ^^
