Here's what I've got...

My problem is that I can't get it stable over 5GHz, no matter what I try. I'm at my limit with the voltage. Any higher and it fluctuates to over 1.6v. I'm stable where I'm at but was aiming for 5. Have I hit the wall with this setup? Any suggestions?

4,9 is indeed a good overclock
if you're stable and if your temps are fine, you can definitely call that an good, stable, successful overclock, thumbs up

I think it might be your cpu itself then
it depends a lot on the cpu, how far you can push it, a lot of people can reach this 5Ghz without any problems, but they were also lucky with their chip
imho 4,9GHz is pretty good for a piledriver cpu

I agree. I'm happy to be stable at 4.9 I don't see many of these up there. But, I've seen a few at 5.4 +. I don't know how stable they were but it got me wanting more. I can get to 5.3 but for never more than an hour until a crash. Oh well. I'll call it a success and be done with it. Thanks.
