Many Computer Problems

This is just going to be a few random questions about computer issues I have been having, if anyone could solve any of them it would be greatly appreciated.

First off I have recently started having a strange problem with a few of my desktop apps. (Google Chrome and Wacom Tablet Properties) Just to name the ones that have stated acting up.

I have had Google Chrome for sometime now, have never had a problem until a few days ago I switched out my old PCI wireless adapter for a new one with 5Ghz.(Don't know if it has anything to do with this, but it wouldn't hurt mentioning) After I had done this I started noticing sometimes when I would try to start Google Chrome it would load up my homepage halfway and then become frozen and I would have to go to Task Manager to exit out of it. Then trying to get back into it, it would never open back up, even after ending all chrome related processes. Keep in mind I am not getting any error messages from this, it is just nonresponsive, I can't even uninstall it because it says that Google Chrome is still open. The only thing I have found that works about 50% of the time is restarting my computer and uninstalling it then using IE to download Google Chrome again. Then after that it only sometimes will work fine.

My other much smaller problem is at the same time that started happening my Wacom Tablet Properties Manager stopped opening also. It is doing something similar to Google Chrome, where I will open it but nothing will show up but it will be in my Taskbar like its minimized but I will be unable to do anything with but close it. It sometimes will tell me I don't have the driver installed which is wrong because I even tried reinstalling the driver and it hasn't worked.

Another small problem I have been having is with Spotify, pretty much the same thing has been happening with it and it started at the same exact time as everything else. I open it, it plays for about 2 minutes then becomes unresponsive. Then after getting it to close I can never reopen it because it will say there is another instance of Spotify. The only thing that remedies this is a restart.

Well those are my problems, but I don't know if they are related or are all just really poorly timed and coincidentally similar. Either way, I would really love somebodies insight on all of this to see if they might know what is going on. Sorry for the paragraphs by the way, I just wanted to be as detailed as possible.

You don't have to read this part, but I also have a minor audio bug that has been here since I built this computer. When ever I am idle and nothing is playing through my headset I can hear constant buzzing and it changes pitch when I move my mouse or when something is download/opening/loading etc.. I don't know what this could be but if anyone has an idea I would really love to know how to fix it.

Okay, that is all. Please help me!

Did you completely remove the drivers for you previous network card?

Is it possible for you to hard-wire just for testing the apps that are causing problems?

Have you tried uninstalling the new card's drivers and re-installing?

Did you download the most recent drivers for the new card from the manufacturer or did you just let windows find them?

Your freezing issues all sound like a driver conflict to me.

The sounds issue is likely the built-in amp powering your headphones being too close to another component so its picking up distortion from a field created by that component drawing power. Not something that is probably fixable outside of acquiring an external headphone amp or a new sound card.
