Help! pc freezing before BIOS

Today I put a new cpu and graphics card in my pc I have 450w psu the new cpu was a Amd Athlon x4 760k 3.8ghz quad core and the graphics card is a Sapphire radeon 7850 OC 1gb.The problem is when I start the pc it tells my I have to press f2 to confirm the change and it gives 15 seconds to press it but it freezes and I cant do anything so it just turns off please help!

Get your Mother board model and search it on the manufacturers website, download the latest BIOS version and put it on a cd or usb. Then pop your old processor back in and run the bios update in your current BIOS (should be an option somewhere in your BIOS to do an update)...
Or make it even easier and download the .exe of the bios update and do it right from windows!

Cool ill try that but when I asked the website where i bought the parts from he said it would all work so Im slightly confused.

It will technically work, the website is assuming that you have the newer BIOS already installed (updating BIOS is part of regular pc maintenance). Dont get frustrated, if you do this through windows with an .exe file this whole process including swapping your CPU's wont take more than 30 mins.

I downloaded the update for BIOS its currently a zip file would that work instead of ,exe?
