How do I install Windows 8.1?

Is it legit or did you torrent it? The product key should be on the back of the box if you got the hardware version or microsoft should have emailed you with it. If you torrented it you can look online, there are hundreds of codes that are laying around and you can use kms activator after you install the os. Hope this helped!!!!

It's legit and it's looping round. I put the key in, accept T & C, it restarts and does the same again

It says Windows cannot be installed to this disc. The selected disc has an MBR partition table. On EFI systems, Windows can only be installed to GPT discs. But it created the partition
Okay so your issue is that you need to format the drive for windows installation. You can find the solution to this here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn336946.aspx . Also, make sure that your hard drive is the first boot choice or else windows will not install on it. You have to go to the boot options THEN choose to boot up via flash drive or disk.
