dell inpiron dropped, no crack in screen, powers on, but is all weird colors, looks and sounds like hard drive is running by looking at the light on bottom of laptop. Can it be fixed? I tried taking battery out. Thanks

It does sound as though it is salvageable but I can't say for sure. I think I would recommend taking it to a local independent repair shop that should be able to diagnose what sounds to me to be a hardware problem (I'm thinking a cable came loose personally)
