video card and psu are essential

Video card is very weak on that PC.

With a $500 budget I'd take a serious look at upgrading your current system as a couple year old CPU is good enough, and if you bought a new GPU/PSU now those two components now they would be able to drop into a system like the HP envy you linked to and turn it into a good gaming system.
