Do i need something for cooling my system

I decided to buy a new pc. By now i want to buy these items:
-NZXT Guardian 921 RB ATX Mid Tower Case, Black 921RB-001-BL
-WD Blue 1 TB Desktop Hard Drive
-ASUS Direct CU II gtx 780
-Intel Core i7-4770K
-Kingston Hyper X Blu 8 GB (2x4GB Modules)
-corsair tx650
-asus H87-PLUS

Now, heree comes the question: Should i buy fans or water cooling systems?

check if your Asus H87 allows for overclocking (most H87's don't but certain ones like the Asrock ones allow for minor ratio based overclocking, won't be a very high overclock but the option is there)

I'd say fans though, your graphics card already has a quality cooler and a minor factory OC so no need to replace that, and your CPU, though a "k" variant, won't be overclocked much if at all because of your motherboard.

A nice air cooler and some decent case fans (your case should come with one or 2, but not enough to fit all the allotted space, this is optional however) will cool your system just fine.

why are you buying a h87 motherboard with a 4770k? the motherboard doesnt really support overclocking but you are paying extra for a k edition cpu which is capable of overclocking.

you want a z87 + 4770k if overclocking or a h87 + 4770 (no k suffix) if not overclocking

make sure you use a modular psu. if you dont you will have trouble hiding the wires.

just a suggestion but i'd suggest moving to a different case. the one you picked doesnt have usb 3.0 and looks only so-so for cooling.

to liquid cool your entire pc you are talking between 1/4 to 1/3 the cost of all the components extra in terms of cost. if just liquid cooling the cpu the cost is about double that of air coolers. honestly there isnt much performance difference. a good air cooler is equal to a good water cooler.

the benefit of a cpu water loop is twofold: some big air coolers have conflicts with high ram heatsinks so need low profile ram or else they clash. some really big coolers clash with pcie slot 1 so might limit upgrading. cpu water coolers relocate the bulk off the motherboard and onto the top, rear, front or bottom of the case. the second benefit is aesthetics. a big air cooler looks ugly. a cpu loop is much more refined looking.

i would personally suggest a nice open airflow case and going air cooling for cost efficiency... but your decision.

i already bought my i7 4770k. When i bought it it had the same price as the i7 4770 this is the reason why i bought it :). I really love that case and it has 3 spots for fans so i hope it will be enough ( i do not really know much about this). If someone could suggest me some fans that i should by it would be great, because how i said I am not so good at this ( my first build).

the case only supports 4 fans

FRONT, 1 X 120 mm LED FAN [Included]
REAR, 1 X 120 mm FAN [Included]
SIDE PANEL, 1 X 120 mm LED FAN [Included]
TOP, 1 x 120/140mm

while definitely sufficient if you fill all the slots i would recommend something with a bit more airflow options.

something like a cooler master HAF, phantom 530, corsair 750d, or other wide open airflow case with 2 front fans and a whole sleugh of fan options.

also keep in mind that larger fans = quieter. they run at slower speeds while still providing the same airflow so they dont generate the noise that smaller fans will.
