I am not sure this is right category, but I couldn't think of anywhere else to put it.

Is it possible to temporarily slow down or halt the boot up process? There seems to be almost a half page of messages that are going too fast for me to read. I don't mean so I can enter BIOS setup. I just mean to read the messages.

Also, any thoughts on my other question?

Well, I caught a few glimpses of something unplugged, something else disabled, and I think I even saw the word warning.. I would like to know what it is about. It just goes by so fast I can't read it

Just realized this was still open. The pause key actually does what it says! pauses! I am able to read everything if I hit it in time.
