I am currently looking for a new network cable to buy and i am really getting desperate. The cable will be 30 meters long(100 foot). I have a internet connection speed of 150mb. I was thinking of a cat6 cable but read that a cat5e should do the same thing. Obviously I don't want to lose any speed.

I also read a lot about protection for the cable, UTP, FTP, S/FTP etc. What would be best? the cable will be indoor. A coax cable and another cable will be aside it.

And will all my devices run with a cat6? xbox, laptop? (it will be split later)

Am i talking any sence because i tried to learn it on the internet but found to much information to process. Or am i over thinking it and will any cat6 or cat5e cable do the job? Pleas help to find what kind of network cable i need to buy?

You are way over thinking it. The CAT5e cable will do just fine. It has enough bandwidth to fill your house with PC's. It can also be ran 2-3 times the distance you are going without any issue.

The coax cable will be well shielded but what's the other cable? it can't run along side power cables it has to be separated *(6inch?) or shielded.
