I have my gtx 560 ti and my amd fx 6300 and 8gb of ram. When I play heavy games like Call of Duty Ghosts and more noticeable in Battlefield 4 I get giant stuttuers. On 1600x900 I get 120ish fps and just by turning around or doing anything like shooting drops the fps down to 40 and causes a giant spike it is really annoying and I have seen videos of the gtx 560 ti handle it. I can load the game on Ultra even and it shows playable fps but it still spikes when moving around.

I forgot to mention that while playing games even like MineCraft my gpu makes a grinding sound probably the fan? It's a GTX 560 TI Sparkle the black one not the blue one. But right as the giant lag spikes occur my gpu grinds louder or something but it changes with the game lag.

Check that fan! If it fails a fire could ensue, and no I'm not joking.

What do you want me to check? I'm 14 and inexperienced right now it is running cause I'm not playing anything. I can record a video and upload to youtube for you if you wish.

Turn the PC off and manually check that the fan on the card spins nice and freely.

Not sure I was specific enough making this forum... The fan spins when on and playing games it just whines and makes a high pitched noise under loads like videos and even loader in games.

The fan should spin if you gently blow on it, if there is any resistance then you need to replace it ASAP.

Hmm well I have been using it for 2 months now and it hasn't done anything. Is there any way to like clean it out? Take it apart and fix the fan. I don't have $80 to buy a Arctic 3 fan and all the other fans look dumb.

Once the fans have dust in the bearings they're toast and not worth the trouble.

Okay I just made a video and I will edit it and upload it to YouTube for you to watch probably gonna take 10 minutes. I will try free spinning the fans after I clean the bathroom (house hold chore)

Okay I am now uploading it. I hope the clip helps a bit more will send the link to it after it is done uploading. I hope I can resolve the problem if it isn't the fan bearing. You think it could be overheating? Why would a fan screeching under high loads make the game lag?
