So I found that I had a small chunk of change lying around, $160 to be exact, and thought I want to use it to upgrade my PC. Right now it is adequate, as I mostly game, but it isn't anything magical.
Here is a list of my current setup:

Also my monitor is fairly old, so it wasn't on the list. It is an Acer P201w. It's 20in and has a 1680p display.
So there ya go. What do you think I should spend my 160 on? SSD? RAM? Coolers? Case? Monitor? Whatever you think is best just put a reply below. And just keep in mind my main usage of this PC is gaming, and soon to be a little bit of productivity work.
All of your feedback is appreciated!

If it'll be awhile till your next upgrade, then I'm definitely backing the SSD and ram upgrade, so you'll at least see some performance and utility improvements, not just visual. Could always do a 64gb SSD, stick of ram and new case though.

That was actually thinking of doing that. Do you think that the ssd is worth it? I've never gotten to use one so I am unsure whether I would notice the difference.

Yeah, right now my crappy 20 inch isn't very pretty, i'm just not sure I want to lay down all that money on a new one, as money is hard to come by right now.

Oh yeah lol it'll make you feel like you got a whole new PC :) Just make sure you install all your programs on it, like Chrome, Windows, Photoshop, etc. and some games. 120GB is a decent size, I have Windows and all of my programs on it, along with DayZ, and still have 56 GB of space left.

About the monitor, if it does go out, plug into your TV ;) lol A new monitor would be nice though.

Here's a list getting you an SSD, new monitor, and another stick of 4GB RAM. Not the ideal situation, but gets you 3 new things at once :) And with the 7750, you'll get high detail on the monitor :)

Oof. Not a fan of that monitor lol. Also, not sure on this, but is mixing different brands of ram safe? The speed and size are the same, but not sure if there would be any compatibility issues.

If the timings are the same, you'll be ok if they aren't in the same channel. You'd be ok doing that.

And I know, I'm just trying to offer different suggestions lol Not being or knowing you, it's hard to know what would interest you lol

I'm still behind my first suggestion though, if it were me ;)

So many choices. I was also considering a nice new case, as the one I currently have will have to be changed at one point or another, as it is very limited in what I can do with it. And considering I won't be able to do another upgrade for a while, I thought it may possibly be a good idea. But I don't know, what do you guys think?
