Started a game up and it started some noticeable whining. Minimised it, wine dropped, went back in and it disappeared. I'm sensitive to coil whine as in I'll hear it quite easily, but if it's not too loud it's fine. Can anyone assure me that this is normal or at least nothing to stress over

Will just have to live with it then so long as it's not harmful to my components. I know my Galaxy S4's charger did this, but I got used to it/it got quieter. My NetGear router randomly started doing the same back when I bought it (even replacement PSUs did it

I've had multiple devices produce coil whine from phone chargers to router power supplies, even got a new one which did the same. With my build's PSU it seemed quite loud on day 1. Since then it's markedly quieter. Any whine noises from the GPU, PSU and optical drive drop off to near idling levels by the time the game hits the main menu. Standard or dodgy?
