Hi everyone.

I just built this rig and had it running for a week now.

M5A99x Evo 2.0
AMD FX-8350
Asus GTX 760
Corsair h60 2013
EVGA Nex 750 80 gold
GSkill 8gb 2100mhz 2 modules

It was running fine for over a week after the build. I was in the middle of a LOL game and all of a sudden it shut down. Everytime I try to turn on the computer, the red LED for the gpu is turned on and the computer will not post.

What can I do? What should I do? Is it the motherboard? I would appreciate any help. Thank you for your time.

Check the error code for the lights in your motherboard manual. Also, when you turn it on, are the fans for the CPU (or rather the ones on your liquid cooler) and the GPU turning?

If yes, try unseating and reseating the graphics card securely, recheck all your connections and make sure the PCIE 6/8 pin connector is plugged in all the way on the top of the card.

Thank you for your reply.

Unfortunately, I have looked through the manual and it does not describe any possible errors. It only inidicates which LED is corresponding for which component.

I removed the GPU and put it back in. I tried in the other slot and it also did not work. Both GPU fans and the CPU fans run properly when I power on.

I rechecked the power cable for the gpu. It is a single 8 pin and i made sure it clicked and was properly connected to the gpu and power supply.

At this point I am thinking of sending it out for RMA. I am inclined to purchase another board today because even if I get it RMA'd and returned, I was looking to build another rig anyways. Thanks for taking the time to respond and have a good day. Please advise if you have any more suggestions.
