Strange shutdown with new Samsung 840 Pro

Just got my new SSD installed, set up, yadda yadda. Strangely, when I shut down) using the power button), the button goes from blue to yellow, as if it's only going to sleep. If I shut down using Windows, it shuts down normally. I conformed the Power button is set to shut down, and Sleep is disabled. Any ideas?

Windows 7/64. I double checked Power button is for shutdown, and disabled Sleep for good measaure. Don't know if Sleep was the issue, but it now shuts down with the Power button normally. I'll try enabling Sleep again and see if the problem returns. Now I hhva to figure out a "missing DLL fife" error when trying to install my copy of Photoshop Elements :-(.
