How's it going guys, first time computer builder here and I have a minor to major problem.. My computer won't send a signal to my monitor and I'm puzzled on what to do. I followed a step by step guide on how to build by a know YouTuber on how to build. I even took it all apart and built it again and had the same problem. The computer will turn on and the cpu fan spins, graphic card fans spin and the disc drive works. Also the light on the mobo lights up green.. I don't here any beeps but I'm pretty sure there's no case speaker. The specs are as follows.

Intel 4770k cpu
Evga gtx 770 super clocked 4g
Asus sabertooth z87 mobo
Corsair vengeance ram, 4g x 2
Cooler master 850w modular psu
Corsair 500r case
Just your average hp disc drive
1tb segate hd, its a hybrid ssd.

The only think I can think of that's possibly wrong is the hd and disc drive, maybe ones not set to master and slave? And they are not in the Sata 1 and Sata 2 slots?

Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

Perform all the steps in this checklist and let us know how it goes.

New SATA drives don't use jumpers to determine the master and slave. That's all determined by which SATA port they are plugged into now.

I tried most of those steps, I will try the rest when I get home in a couple of hours, I'm currently at work.

The monitor must be showing "No Signal". It either it will be a GPU problem or HDD problem. Try to connect the monitor cable correctly and then try another SATA port for HDD! It maybe faulty cables that are causing errors!

One more minor detail, when I first plugged the dvi into the gpu and monitor it shortly said test OK or test complete the proceeded to blink black and cycle through all the settings, (analog, hdmi 1, hdmi 2) etc then eventually turn off when finding no signal.
