I am just wondering which will give more bang for the buck, an AMD FX-8350 or an Intel Core I7/i5.
I want no fanboys of intel or AMD on this thread. I would like to get a reply from someone who has owned both intel and amd, or simply knows alot about both. This will mainly be for gaming for games like BF4 and other intense FPS.
Thanks :)

Intel Core i7 is better.
i5 and i7,they are a same chip,bu i5 locked hyper threading

depends on the other hardware
depends on the resolution of your monitor
depends on the games you play

but in general you wont see any difference between AMD and intel playing BF4 at 1080p

This used to be a very known battles amongst CPU's, like around a year ago.

I personally picked the 8350 since it was cheaper and had better bundle deals than that of 3570k.
It was around $100 cheaper, idk today.

Best value 8350, best performance I7.

Speaking simply without all the technical stuff - 8350 is basically I5 that can sometimes can give you I7+ performance and sometimes dip below I5, but it is still good even in the worst case scenario and it is cheaper than I5.

I7 is a rock-solid performance CPU, it is universally good, but it is also much more expensive.

actually i7 and i5 arent the same chip.
The I7 have more cache also.
