Today I have set up an Asroch E35LM1 (= onboard CPU) with 2x Kingston KVR1066D3D8R7S/4G memory.
At startup, nothing seems to ber working , except the fan on the board. No power to keyboard or mouse, no beeps...
I tried both banks of memory seperately in both memory slots - makes no difference.
So it looks like either the board or both memory banks are broken
Since I've bought the memory and board from two different suppliers (neither had both ..) I would like to know how to figure out which component is failing.
Or may I have missed somtehing ?
