New i5-4670k with older GPU?

im building the following computer:
i5-4670k
Asus Maximus VI Hero motherboard
G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory
Samsung 840 EVO 120GB 2.5" Solid State Disk

but, i want to wait until prices come down some on newer gpu's. The gpu i have now is radeon 5850hd. Can i use that in the mean time and buy a newer gpu later?

there will always be bottleneck issues, the alternative would be to buy an i3 while you are using the 5850 and then buy the i5 once you upgrade, which would be stupid.

Yeap, user "iknowhowtofixit" was very specific : "no compatibility issues". He never mentioned anything about bottleneck...

I never said that there will be a bottleneck issue. I just said that the user EDIT: ('iknowhowtofixit") never mentioned anything about bottleneck issues..

It will be fine. Bottlenecking isnt something to worry about, there is always a bottleneck. If you know your GPU is old and going to be upgraded, then its not an issue. You will be getting 100% of the performance that the 5850 is capable of.
