Dear Expert all
I want to configure single PC on dual Hard Drive (SATA)
but I Want when my Computer is booting the system ask me first which HDD you want to boot like (1 or 2) when i selecet 1 boot with no1 hard drive and i want not enable second hard disk

same as when i boot 2 no hard drive and i want not enable 1st hard disk

Both harddisk same or different OS like 1 is XP then 2 is 2K Professional
or any other software are do this do disable secondery HDD


It possible or not if possible how it ?

two ways of doing it:
1. some mobos have 'press F8 for boot menu' to allow you to chose disks, and then you unmount the other disk in each windows installation.
2. if you install each installation of windows sequentially starting at the oldest and install as an additional installation of windows then you get a choice of OS, go to system > advanced settings > startup and recovery, however I think you'll not be able to disable the disks in this mode.
