Hello my friends, your advice helped me to build my rig in the past, and now i need your help again.

My current Setup is:

Processor: I7 4770K - Non OCked - stock cooler.
Mobo: MAXIMUS GENE VI
RAM: 16 GB GSkill DDR3 2x8Gb 1866Mhz Sniper Cas9
SSD: None
HDD: 1TB Western Digital.
GPU: Single XFX Radeon HD 6870 1 GB
PSU: Shitty Sentey 650W

I`m on budget beacuse the US Dollar exchange rate in my country has gone to the roof and retailers sell PC parts more expensive than in Newegg.

So ... here is where i need your advice.

At first I was looking for R9 280x or R9 290 but I changed my mind after minig raised GPU`s price almost 50% or more.

So I changed to the green team

As for single GPU or SLI i was gonna buy this PSU (I will NOT OC.)

NZXT HALE82 HALE82-850-M 850W

For GPU I cant decide wich one will be the best bang for the buck

* I play all my games (Single 23` Monitor - 60+ FPS - All Maxed out - 1920 x 1080 Resolution - 2x AA - 4x AF - 16x Tesselation)

Having said that

I want to continue playing like that till 2016 inclusive. (Stop buying new games isn`t an option.... LOL.)

* So the first option was:

1 GTX 770 this year and buying another for SLI next year:

- ZOTAC AMP! ZT-70303-10P GeForce GTX 770 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5

Link:

* And the second option was:

(selling a kidney in the middle)

Only 1 of this till 2016 inclusive.

- ZOTAC ZT-70201-10P GeForce GTX 780 3GB 384-bit GDDR5

I`ll be waiting for your advice, one thing worries me tough and that thing is AMD mantle.

My regards and thanks.

Gustavo.

If you cant find 4GB you can get a 2GB itself, later you can SLI that card, you will have a solid performance with single card itself, but make sure you have an appropriate PSU if you plan to SLI. The 650W would be sufficient for 1 GPU as minimum suggested power is 600W including all other components. Since you have mentioned budget, the EVGA 2 GB is good and its not a waste of your money, when you compare it with 4GB zotac, yes you will have a slight difference in the performance. But I would say rather stick with EVGA itself

The exchange rate in my contry (Argentina) is 1 US$ <=> AR$ 8.20

It will be something like this:

US$ 707 <=> ZOTAC AMP! ZT-70303-10P GeForce GTX 770 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5
US$ 829 <=> Evga Geforce Gtx770 Dual Acx 2gb Ddr5 Pci-e (Can`t find 4GB version on retailers)
US$ 1012 <=> ZOTAC ZT-70201-10P GeForce GTX 780 3GB 384-bit GDDR5

Is it worth the US$ 120 difference since they are both 2GB cards?

I don`t do OC because i don´t have a descent cooling system.
Is not that i`m not plannig to.
So far I didn´t need to OC to play my games the way I like.
