I'm sorry if this has been discussed, I have looked quite a bit to find the root of this issue but cannot. I am getting a black screen randomly while gaming or sitting at desktop. It will turn off sound and display for about 1-2 seconds and then snap back and resume as if nothing has happened. After spending hours looking and searching for the root of this issue and researching online, I cannot seem to figure it out. I have seen other similar issues but not quite the same as the one I'm having so apprehensive to try a method if I don't fully know the problem.

I have re-installed drivers and rolled back my pc to a previous date were the issue didn't exist and still it persists. Thinking my last option will be to wipe and see if that fixes it?

If anyone could help me I would greatly appreciate it.

Have you tried just running the onboard graphics? I know you can't really do a lot of gaming, but it almost sounds like a driver issue or perhaps a gpu heat issue.

Also, did you previously run a Radeon card? When you uninstalled your graphics drivers, did you also clean out the Radeon and/or Nvidia software? You might want to try running CCleaner after uninstalling your graphics drivers - it will clean out the kruft left by the uninstall process.
