I keep getting driver crashes running two GTX 680s. Concurrently, the sound from my sound card which is also connected to the PSU cuts out. Is it safe to say the cause of the graphics card failures and sound cutting out is the PSU?

Sabertooth p67, 16gb ddr3, i7 2600k o/c'd to 4.5 GHz, corsair 600t case, 800W Corsair GS psu, corsair H80 cpu cooler, 2 120mm corsair fans, xonar phoebus soundcard (unable to find its exact power consumption)

Do you have the same problem if you run just a single 680? Your specs seem fine, but the symptoms kinda sound like power starvation.

Has the problem been around continuously, or did it start after a driver update perhaps?

I took out one of the cards for a while and to my recollection I didnt have issues. Will test again as I am really unsure if it did or not. Don't think it was a driver update but I think it has been acting up ever since I threw the sound card in it.
