Okay so my budget was 3.5k, I needed 2 monitors and keyboard (already have a mouse). This needs to last me a solid 4-6 years. So what do you guys think? If I could lower the pricing a little bit. It'd be great but I want to absolutely max out all games at 1080p that are currently available. So here's the specs:
Mobo: ASUS Maximus VI Hero $305
Case: Fractal Designs Define R4 $149
CPU: Intel Core i7 4770k $399
CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i $149
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2TB $99
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws X 1866Mhz (2x8) 16gb $199
SSD: Samsung Evo 250gb $189
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 780 Superclocked 3gb $689
PSU: Corsair RM-850 $225
OD: LG 24x SATA $25
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit $209
Keyboard: Das Keyboard Model S Ultimate Tactile Soft (Cherry Brown) $149
Additional Fans x2: Corsair Air Series SP120 QE Twin pack $78
Monitor: BenQ XL2420TE 144HZ $499
Monitor 2: ASUS VE248H $189

EDIT: These are OZ prices. Which is why they are SO FRIGGIN' expensive
EDIT 2: The BenQ would be my gaming monitor. The ASUS would be my Photoshop, Twitter, browsing monitor, etc. What do you think about these 2 monitors? Should I change them?

looks good....Why not windows 8.1 ? you can save some money over here... also, i think you should go for a single 28 inch monitor...i dont really feel you need 144hz refresh rate unless you are simply too sensitive to all this...instead of a single 2tb hdd, i would go for two 1tb hard drives and set them up in raid...and you can cut down on your keyboard...i prefer blackwidow for mechanical and deathstalker expert for membrane based keyboards...
Overkill PSU, unless you plan on SLI. 550W is more than enough for any single GPU.
Overkill motherboard by miles. You can save AT LEAST 100$ there. Maybe look to something like a Gigabyte UD4 board.
Overkill Windows. Professional is MORE than good enough.
Those monitors are fine.

I forgot to mention that this is an overkill build. But I think i'll lower my PSU. I also decided on the Hero, because of the very nice on-board sound (I've tried it before: it's great imo) My friend has the Gigabyte UD4, and it's on-board is pretty mediocre.

1) For 700 I would get 1x 28" monitor with a better resolution and be much happier. Not sure you really need 144hz anyway. Think about the laws of diminishing returns... For that matter do you really need GTX780? If you stay at 1080p 1-2 games may not be able to be maxed out but will it really matter you culd save a lot of money If you just bought a GTX770

2) Are you planning on Encrypting your SSD? That's the only reason to get win 7 Ult over PRO...

Me personally, I definitely prefer 24" so 1080p is my limit I suppose. I only chose this GPU because it will max out games, even in future (and bragging rights XD). I think i'll choose a different monitor that isn't the BenQ, but can still provide 60+hz.
Also, I think i'll downgrade the OS for sure. Other than that. Thanks so far!

Hm. I've used Windows 8.1, TOTAL GARBAGE (IMO) Also, I think I may change the 144hz monitor. I'll take the RAID idea to consideration. As of the keyboard, I've used the Blackwidow before (my friend has it), and my other friend also has the Das Keyboard. I just love the clicky sound and it felt more natural to me. Thanks!
