Im getting a real bad performance out of this graphic card, on ultra with the HD 6770 on skyrim for example, I was able to get 35-50 fps minimum, now im getting 25-30 fps max.
Idk, im currently using a 32 bit system which is only using 3 GB ram out of the 6 GB ram, could it be that?
My CPU is an E7500.
Minor bottleneck though.

welp, this graphic card sucks humongous/tremendous amount of balls, getting 15-24 fps on Skyrim ultra no mods, im gonna trade it for a HD 7750
Edit:lel, i can run Dead Island 1920x1080, max settings 45-55 fps, but not skyrim.
wat.

They should be pretty equal in performance. Uh, might want to uninstall and reinstall your gpu drivers as well as run Driver Sweeper in safe mode to get rid of the AMD - Display drivers.

I'd also like to see you run through skyrim with skyrim performance monitor if possible. It gives all kind of graphs and statistics about whats being used and what still has room to be used.

You can also use MSI Afterburner but it takes a bit more work to get it set up properly.

Interesting, are you using the hd texture pack dlc?

Also try turning your shadows down to medium, see if that improves anything. This is kinda weird though, you should be getting higher FPS than that.

If all else fails try a beta build of the newest drivers from nvidia.

I don't think its defective, it sounds like a problem with the game. Hmm, Cut and paste your Skyrim folder (not the install folder but the one in documents/my games.) Just put it somewhere to skyrim rebuilds that folder, then set up your settings again.

If that doesn't work, go into the newly created folder and open the skyrimprefs with notepad, Ctl + F and search for interval, change it to
Code:
iPresentInterval=0

Thats a last ditch effort aside from reinstalling the game, Pretty sure that disables Vsync in the game, which isn't recommended as it can do some hilarious things to the physics.

Currently reinstaling skyrim, also, i tried to run it with steam offline mode to no avail but that should have been obvious...
I don't understand I get about 55-60 fps on Dead Island, why don't I in skyrim?

Hmm, as long as you have your monitor plugged into the dedicated gpu the onboard will be disabled. Not to mention Nvidias drivers won't let you install them without an nvidia gpu being detected.

Have you done the cut/paste the skyrim folder like I asked in my last post?

You do have the 6pin connector plugged in, right?

Also might want to try downloading Unigine heaven, its free and it might to determine if the performance is normal (Obviously skyrims performance isn't normal, but we don't know if its JUST skyrim thats having this problem, as you said, dead island seems fine)

Its not a GPU ONLY benchmark so your numbers should be a bit lower than that, I'm starting to think the cards defective or your power supply can't supply it with enough power. What is your PSU by the way?
