Hi guys,
I'm a first time builder n i need ur advice; im really stuck, i cant decide between the Gigabyte windforce 780 and the Gigabyte wf R9 290, i really don't know which of the two is better for me !!

... Here's the others componants that im getting:
-CPU: i5 3570k with stock cooler (atleast for now)
-Motherboard: Asrock extreme-4 m
-Memory: 4x2 Gskill ripjaws (or Corsair )
-Power supply: a decent 600w 80+ Bronze  psu
-Storage: 1 tb WD Caviar black
-Case: Zalman z11 plus

---
PS: I was looking to get the sapphire trix 290 but unfortunatly its unavailable in my country, n i heard that the other versions from Gigabyte n Asus r throttling at high temperatures !!
.. So what do u guys think shoud i go with the 290 or the 780 ? ... Btw they cost the same here. Tnx

Solution
im almost sure a r9 290 will work with 600w psu but itll be very dangerous (cant overclock/id be careful getting everything working on max)
basically both cards are really great and compete with each other, take which one youd like but i would get r9 290 also because it has another gb of vram which might be helpful in the future (right now 2gb is enough but at the past people thought 512mb was enough so as you can see it always goes up)

@Itayel Indeed, i'm leaning towards the r9 290, the extra Vram is a bonus, especially for a game like Skyrim with high quality textures mods ... its just that im affraid it will be throttling !! ... Does anybody here owns one ? I wanna be sure ! ... Also if i make a custom fan profil in Afterburner (lets say for exemple @ 55 %) would that be ideal for a good temps ?

r9 290 wont have any issues as long its not refrence cooler, like sapphires tri x or gigabytes windforce or asus's dcii
they get to max 73c, if you arent sure read reviews
