Excuse my illiteracy as i am not all that great with computers. I am having some serious issues with my graphics card. It seems like when ever my computer is under load the display go's black and when it returns it gives me this error. Display driver amdkmdap stopped responding and has successfully recovered. Once that happens i get white lines through my screen and they don't go away untill i reboot. For a while my computer would shut down from what i can only guess is it's overheating. i came to realize my sound card was directly underneath my graphics card blocking the fan. i removed the sound card and it hasn't shutdown yet. but the graphics card still go's haywire when under load and again the screen go's black then gives me that error and i get the white lines. I've tried re-installing the drivers numerous times with no luck. I will give as much information about my computer as possible if i leave anything out please let me know so i can add.

this is very possible and believe me the thought has definatly crossed my mind. but it's been doing it since day 1 ive had it almost a year. could it really overheat and go bad that quickly? i was wondering if maybe my computer isnt good enough for that card?
