Im looking to upgrade my current system the things im looking to upgrade is the Motherboard and and the CPU

i have currently a
Motherboard: crosshair IV formula
CPU: AMD athlon Dual core
GPU: Nvidia GTX 660

im not looking to overclock or anything special

my budget I'd like to keep under £250 if possible

thnak you for any advice given

He said he was wanting to upgrade his "gaming rig"... i5 outperforms 8350 for gaming purposes.

Also you didn't give him a mobo recommendation...Give him an idea of what board to go with that 8350.
If you go the FX route the Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 is a decent board
