Can't reboot windows 8 on safe mode

I have to reboot my pc but i cant do it in safe mode, when a repeatly press the F8 key whit shift, it doesnt appear some options to restart de system, just the letter "Ñ". can somebody figure it out, please?

This is what i hate the most about windows 8. It is hard to boot in safe mode. This is why im still in windows 7.

I think you forgot to press shift?. But you can use this for reference.
