I've got my FX 8350 chip overclocked to 4.85 ghz stable, and can get 5.1ghz but run into major thermal issues. I've got a custom XSPC liquid cooling system, and temps at full load are 65 degrees celcius. There is nothing I can do on the cooling system itself, and the only thing would be swap out/try other thermal paste.

I've already tried Arctic silver 5, Arctic MX2 & 4, and a diamond formula 7. So far the MX 4 has produced the best results, but im looking at trying to lower 5 degrees would be perfect but anything lower would be best.

Question is which thermal paste is better:
1. Tuniq TX-4 Extreme Performance
2. Prolimatech PRO-PK3
3. ARCTIC MX-4

Anything else you would recommend? Otherwise ill be getting and trying them all, but trying to save myself days of work if one of these is better than the others.

Thanks, and have read this a few times and found it much informative. Which helped me narrow down to the thermal pastes I'm asking about. Ive also read several reviews and forums about the liquid metal. I don't remember seeing the tuniq on that review nor the px-4, even though the px3 is reviewed almost at the top. From side searching most say that the px4 is easier to apply and within margin of error the same as the 3, but haven't found any concrete evidence.

Does anyone have any experience with the liquid pro? I'm up for the challenge, putting it on but not looking forward to having to remove it. Which is why im leaning more towards ceramic unless the difference is significant enough to push me over the top.

So does anyone have any positive experience or I guess experience at all with the tuniq or the px4?

Arctic MX-4 i can highly recommend it, i use it myself and it's some of the best on the market, it's non-conductive, non-capacitive and it doesn't dry out, so you'll only have to reapply it once a year, and lowers the CPU temp quiet much

edit: didn't read OP's post, seeing you already tried MX-4 then you've already tried the highest quality :)
