I've got a benq gl2460 1080p monitor and i get no option to select anything higher than 60hz, any idea how i can solve this?

(i'm using a dvi-d lead incase that changes anything)

That is a 60Hz LCD monitor, not a 120Hz (or higher), therefore you cannot go above 60Hz unless you lower the resolution. Here's a link to the specs. Typically if the features / specs do not specifically state it is a 120Hz monitor, then by default it is a 60Hz monitor.

Okay thanks, I actually went out and bought this monitor partly because i thought it was 120Hz, so now I guess I'll be paying more attention to all the details when buying one instead of believing it's 120Hz when you type 120Hz monitor into google shopping.
