Hi!
I seek some answers about prioritizing my computer for more broadband network avaliability.
I have Inteno DG150 router.
I got 2 brothers that usually streams and downloads at all times.
So I lagg ALOT!
I was wondering how I could give Myself more internet without that QoS (Quality of Service) on my networking settings.

Assuming your router has the options for it, you should be able to set a cap limit in bandwidth per port/MAC address or by IP, look for that in advanced->restrictions or something like that.

However ideal would be QoS since that rearranges the order of packets giving priority to latency sensitive applications (gaming, streaming etc without conflicting each other).

radikal I went and dug for a while trying to find the manual for that device...in english. It is a very basic device it has no ability to limit traffic other than complete blocking via parental controls. So it is likely he cannot accomplish this without buying a different router.

Well, then it seems like I cannot do what I wish to do, but thank you RaDiKal and Bill for the answers, and I hope to see more from you in the nearest future on Tomshardware forums :)
