Hello. Long story short whenever I forcibly shut down my computer or hard restart as some would call it by simply holding down the power button till it cuts off it reboots and i have a red x that says no connections available. I've tried everything under the sun and im no novice. Drivers have been updated and re installed the adapter is not disabled and is working properly (or so windows says it is) i tried clearing tcp stacks refreshing the tray, system restore, trying to manually connect, scan for hardware changes. Before one of the latter tricks would work but none are working this time whatsoever. I can use a Ethernet cord and connect but wireless is a no go. There is no problem modem side as all the other devices ranging from a smartphone to the ps4 can connect to the wifi. I find it strange that i cant detect any whatsoever and i know for a fact that there is about 4 other networks in my area that i should be picking up beside mine. I've spent hours trying to solve it and now I've given in to asking for help. It would take a serious guy to solve this . PLEASE HELP

Card could be going bad, MOBO may not be recognizing card. You could try it in another slot if you have one. If card has power input from PSU it may not be receiving power there. Have you tried removing card, deleting all driver info then re-insert card and re-install drivers. If you don't find success with what you have tried and the few things I have listed, I would try a new card

N i haven't .Its a custom laptop and most components are easily to get at the bottom hatches but the WiFi card is under the lit keyboard but that might be a option i never thought the card would be bad because it would work fine intill the time came that i needed to force shutdown power like in case of a freeze or something else that couldn't be fixed with out shutting it down
