Probably not, BF4 is CPU demanding too.
If you are on a budget, get fx 6300 + new Mobo.
If you can ball out, do an unlocked i5 4th Gen with a new Mobo with 87 chip

Because updates have come to bf4 from dice or whatever and the games optimization has gotten ALOT better then it was on release thats why. BF4 now isnt as shitty as BF4 on release. Numbers are going to be different.

You guys are ridiculous. Whining about the 'date' of the test? Please explain how this makes those charts invalid in some fashion.
BF4, if anything, is graphically bound. Even the THG CPU tests revealed this simple fact.
Will an Intel (or AMD FX- ) CPU give slightly higher frames? Yes.
Does BF4 benefit from mo' cores/threads? Maybe. A little. It depends.
Will there be a substantial difference in frame rates? NO !!

Well as the Mantle update is supposed to change things up old benchmarks are no longer valid in theory are they?

The whole point is outdated basically beta tests aren't valid anymore when there has been optimization done to the game.
