Hi All,
Warm Greetings !!

I have some confusion with the fans.

I am using NZXT 530 Phantom case.
It has FAN HUB and I can connect upto 10 Fans 30 WATTS COMBINED MAX.
It has 3 FAN SPEED OPTIONS on the case.LOW - MED - HIGH.

My Question is

I have installed 2 top 200MM Fans and One 140MM Side Fan.
Can I connect them to the Mother Board SYSTEM-FAN Pins to have better control on the RPM from MOBO Fan Control UTILITIES or even I can leave it to Mother Board ,so it Automatically Adjusts in AUTO Mode.

I am in the assumption that my MSI GD65 MOBO has better control over fans compared to the case fan hub.

What is the main purpose of this SYSTEM FAN SLOTS or PINS on MOBO ?

Are the SYSTEM-FAN Pins on MOBO meant for connecting this case fans only ?

Please suggest

Yes, most MBs offer the option of connecting case fans to their SYS FAN headers. If the headers are 3 pin, sometimes the BIOS offers auto/manual control of fan speed. If the headers are 4 pin (PWM) the BIOS may offer control through Pulse Width Modulation just like the CPU FAN header.
