I am in the market for a cost effective pair of over the ear headphones. I have had a pair of Boomphone phantoms for the last year, and while they had amazing audio quality and were very comfortable, they have been falling apart for a while. The inner lining coming unglued, the lights breaking, etc. I need a new pair of wired, comfortable, and hopefully quality over the ear headphones. I know that there are threads everywhere about this, but I seriously cannot decide because everything seems to have at least one downside. I use headphones a lot, listening movies and music on my tablet, or playing games. These need to mainly be durable, quality sound, and comfortable. They can look like sin itself, as long as the headphones are those three things,

Some of the most durable headphones out there are the Sony MDR-7506/MDR-V6 cans. They are common in studios and broadcasting... and they're relatively inexpensive and built like tanks. Check out some reviews.
