My case is about 7.25" so I think a cooler master 212 evo is out of question. :(

I'd like to do a slight-mild overclock to my FX-4300. It's bottle necking my 7850. D:

Max price would be about $40, Thanks!

I think so. If you have 1.25 inches of space and you account for the motherboard and stand-off screws you probably still have about 0.5 to 0.75in, maybe more

Do you have a 120mm fan near your CPU? A closed waterloop solution just might fit the build, you can sometimes find an H60 on sale for around 40-50.
If not, Zallman's make this awesome all copper low-profile cpu cooler that looks like a bloomin-onion from Outback Steakhouse.

I had one of these on my i7 for a while. Not bad for the price, but there are better options out there if you can raise your budget a bit.

And Zallman looks interesting. could it take an OC? And how about the TX3?

True that is less than ideal but the slim one "usually ships within 3 to 4 days" and that would probably meet your needs better.

Regardless, it is just one out of many choices.

These are the dimensions for the T4: Dimension (W / H / D):- 131.6 x 72.5 x 152.3 mm (5.2 x 2.9 x 6 in). You said your case was 7.5 (inches I am assuming). If that is true you have an extra 1.5in to play with if you get the T4
