can't make my computer use the right video card!

I'm having trouble running dayz with good fps on my laptop, and I read that the graphics card Intel(R) HD Graphics Family is not good, but the NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M is, I tested on countless sites to see if my pc could run well, then I came to this conclusion: Dayz not using my good video card, I have two pc video cards, a intel and a gt 740m. What I do to DayZ use my good video card?

Go into windows control panel, goto power, and then set your power preset to "High performance". This will decrease battery life but you can always switch back.

Already did that, and I still get the poor fps
  3. hmmm... strange.... The problem is that switching the graphics is always automatic when the laptop default GPU detects a graphically-intense (more or less) application like this dayz game
  4. It's always good to make sure that you have the most current video and bios drivers. Don't know if that will fix the problem, but if you haven't updated, it would be the next thing to try.
