Is my PC's RAM dead?

Basically I started having problems with booting. No video, No beep code and no boot but yet the fans and lights where running. My PSU is only two months old.

I took out the RAM. Turned the PC on and received a beep code but no video. Therefore I doubt it is the motherboard.

Blew the dust of the RAM and slotted them back in. It booted perfectly and after five (or so) minuets on Windows 8.1. I received a message, "Your PC encounter a problem and is restarting :(" (or somthing like that?)

The PC restarted, and displayed the same message. Booted again then the typical No beep, No Video and no Boot.

I'm suspecting it's the RAM which needs replacing but I don't wanna spend money until I'm sure.
Could anyone offer any help please?
Thanks.

Specs:
Nvidia GeForce GTX 620 2MB (year old)
Cooler master 500w PSU (Two Months old)
(All parts below are 6 years old)
MSI K9N6PGM2-V MoBo
AMD Athlon Duel Core 64-bit 2.6Ghz CPU
500MB hardrive
windows 8.1 preview / Windows XP - Duel Boot

And the RAM I think was:
Kingston 1GB 333mhz (I had two sticks equaling 2GB)

RAM is easy.
It can be tested with software reliably.

1 stick at a time for a good test.

Run at least 1 pass, if it doesn't find anything, run it a few more to be more sure.

Edit
Running it overnight, might be necessary to find small errors.
