I plan on running BF4 and World of Warcraft across 3 screens. My questions are, will two Gtx 780's be able to handle this and preform at about 80 fps? What resolution would this be? and if the monitors i get have a vertical refresh rate of 50-75 Hz, does that mean i can only get 75 fps with V Sync on? and should i turn v sync on or off because of the screen tearing? this is the monitor i plan on getting three of- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236100 and if so whats a good monitor that's under $200 dollars with a higher Hz? thank you and let me know if you need to know the specs of my future build.

It appears that the monitor you choose maxs at 75hz on vertical, meaning that having vsync on the max fps you will get are 75. With GTX 780 SLI i am pretty sure u can get that fps easily on BF4 (and if u don't u can always lower your AA from 8x to 4x). About WoW, a 10 year old game, well i don't think you should be asking about it really.

Also it would be better to have vsync on, because in case your 780 SLI gives you way more than 75 fps you will have some tearing and the gameplay won't be that smooth.

Most definitely, a 780 SLI would run battlefield 4 very smooth on 3 screens at full settings. A 770 alone on a 1080p screen would run bf4 at 80+ fps full settings. Just image a 780 SLI.

I just noticed that you already own one of the Asus monitors, so i suggest you try disabling vsync and see for yourself the tearing of having higher FPS than the hz of the monitor. You can also use a program like FRAPS to see the exact number of FPS you have. And because you have a nice rig i believe you will have a lot more than 120 FPS on BF4 max settings with AA 8x.

Sadly i can not help you with that. I personally use a 60hz monitor and i do not intend to get anything much higher than that. The reason is that my system might get higher fps than 60 right now, but what about in a year? When crysis 4 hit the selves? Having lower fps than the refresh rate of the monitor also causes tearing, vsync might help a bit to smooth it out, but it won't be as smooth as having the same fps as the refresh rate. And having said that, when the games get more demanding you will ether need to upgrade your system to keep up with the 100 or even 120hz or accept that you will have some tearing because of the lower fps. I have one GTX 780, so my system is not as strong as yours, but I thought it would be good to share my point of view on that subject.

I am not telling you not to get a monitor with higher refresh rate, but think of it a bit before you do it. The 75hz that the monitor supports right now I believe are really good. And yes I know how it's playing on a 100hz monitor or even better a 120hz one, the "smoothness" is amazing, but will your system keep up through the years?
